Himalayan Hikers Expedition is a locally owned and operated expedition company based out of Kathmandu. Unlike most mainstream operating companies that are corporate and based overseas, HHE is owned and operated by guides who are native to the land giving us greater experience but also greater connection to and respect of the land, the culture, the people.We have close ties in the communities of the mountains and make great effort to help those in the community receive opportunities for education and work through non-profits organizations and job opportunities. All of the guides have between 15 & 20 years of experience in trekking and climbing and have completed ( even teach) extensive first aid and other safety training courses. The level of knowledge, skill and professionalism is incredible with our guys!
