Today your tour starts after breakfast to Patan and Bhaktapur. This tour takes you to the ancient cities of Patan and Bhaktapur to unleash the hidden treasures of the cities. Patan and Bhaktapur city day tour is specially designed for travelers who have the limited time in Nepal but still want to explore the natural, cultural and traditional monuments of the cities. Patan (also known as Lalitpur) is the second largest city in Kathmandu valley and shares it border with Kathmandu and Bhaktapur district. Lalitpur has a long Buddhist history and all four corners of the city are marked by the Stupas, believed to have built by the Buddhist emperor Ashoka during 250 BC. Patan durbar square of the central attraction for tourists visiting this traditional and religious city of Lalitpur. The Patan durbar square stands as a symbolic monument of old Newari tradition and culture. It depicts the unique blend of Newari architecture and craftsmanship. The Patan durbar square is filled with numerous temples, shrines and statues and stone sculptures. The palace or durbar situated in the square once used to the official resident of the Malla Kings. The Krishna Mandir (Temple) is center of attraction and the most important religious center. The stone carvings, 21 golden pinnacles and carved pillars are amazing part of this temple. Patan durbar square is an ideal place to visit and discover traditional Newari architecture, culture and tradition while unveiling its exotic hidden beauty.


Likewise Bhaktapur Bhaktapur is an ancient Newari town about 12km east of Kathmandu. Founded in the 12th century, Bhaktapur rose to be the greatest of the Malla Kingdoms in the 15th century. It is an old city where you get to behold the traces of ancient civilization, traditional and cultural monuments and many religious attractions. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the central attraction of Bhaktapur. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square has a lot to offer to its visitors. The Erotic Elephant temple just before the entrance way to the square is something that attracts you at a glimpse. You can also see the erotic carvings on the struts of Shiva-Parvati temple. The Krishna temple, Kedarnath Temple, Hanuman Temple, Vatsala Devi Temple etc. are yet another attraction of this place. The Nyatapola temple is a religious center of numerous Newari community settled in Bhaktapur.  The five stored Nyatapola is one the highest temple of Nepal. The King’s palace, art gallery and museum are other worthy places to visit. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square holds many traditional festivals and rituals throughout the year. Patan and Bhaktapur are one of the most visit sites around Kathmandu valley.
