Moreover, the tour also covers some of Nepal’s Heritage Sites recognized by the UNESCO as the World Heritage Site. Start the tour with a visit to  Kathmandu’s Heritage Sites –  Pashupatinath (main temple for the Hindus) and Boudhanath,visit to the medieval city of Bhaktapur famous for their art and architecture .Drive deep into the mountains to the town of Bandipur (Newari village) for a typical mountain experience. Driving further deep, we spend a day at Bandipur and continue our journey to the fantastic Lake City of Pokhara. After making another full day sightseeing of Pokhara, drive to Lumbini – the birthplace of Buddha, stopping by a picturesque town of Tansen on the way. While returning from Lumbini, we stop at Chitwan Jungle and discover why the National Park holds an important place in preserving the wild lives that are rapidly getting extinct from this planet and therefore recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. After spending another full day of jungle activities at Chitwan, we return to Bhaktapur for the night and drive to Kathmandu to end the Journey in the Himalayas.

The life of mountain dwellers is vastly different from one we lead in the city and is worth having a look at. To look into the heart of the villages of these people we offer an exceptional trek featuring a wide range of spectacular scenery combined with unique cultural encounters with the Sherpa people who inhabit these high altitude regions. The journey begins in the medieval city of Kathmandu, from where a short flight to the beautiful village of Lukla (2800m) will drop us to the heart of the Solu Khumbu region. The trek continues through the lush vegetation of Sagarmatha National Park, with pine forests, rhododendron flowers and an abundance of wildlife, to Namche Bazaar (3440m).A day of rest is necessary in Namche in order to get acclimatized to higher altitudes. The following days trekking will bring us to the village of Tengboche (3930m), home to the highest Buddhist monastery in the world (4100m) and also reputed by photographers as one of the best places to capture the awesome beauty of Mt. Everest (8848m) and its neighboring peaks.We follow the trail to the Sherpa village Khumjung, Edmund Hillary built a hospital nearby in the 1960s and you can see the famous Yeti scalp… and draw your own conclusions as to its authenticity! Then it’s back to Phakding, before descending to Lukla and the spectacular return flight to Kathmandu.

With its enticing side glens, a string of turquoise lakes, Nepal’s biggest glacier and an arc of Snow Mountains, the Gokyo valley is the most attractive in the Khumbu Region. Our Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo RI Trek is an alternative to classical treks in Khumbu that has been specially designed for travelers who are eager to experience the magnificence of the Everest range, while avoiding too much mental and physical stress. The view from Gokyo is exceptionally beautiful and offers more of the legendary mountain than the views from Kalapatthar.This trek explores friendly Sherpa villages, visits monasteries, seeks wildlife and unveils dramatic mountain scenery. We have two days in Kathmandu to experience one of Asia’s most fascinating cities before flying to Lukla, the starting point of our trek. We follow the Dudh Kosi Valley to Namche Bazaar and then trek into Gokyo Valley. The trail ascends gradually and we enjoy a series of short trekking days to ensure proper acclimatization, walking beside the moraines of Ngozumpa Glacier and turquoise lakes to reach our lodge in Gokyo. From here we can climb Gokyo Ri (5360m) to a view of all of the region’s 8000-metre peaks including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu – a breathtaking panorama. Our return route heads back to Lukla via the beautiful Thyangboche Monastery.

We will start in Katmandu, exploring a culture steeped in history and spirituality, touring some of the religious relics, temples and stupas of both Buddhist and Hindu traditions. We then journey high into the Himalayas to the Annapurna region where we will trek, do yoga and meditate daily.
